St George's House
This is a purpose-built House which provides modern, comfortable surroundings for its 25 Residents. In 2009 the House underwent an extensive refurbishment programme which has provided state-of-the-art facilities.
Residents enjoy the feeling of being 'at home' whilst receiving personal care which has been tailored to their individual needs through a personal Care Plan. The House is run by a professional Manager, and specially trained Senior Care and Care Assistants are on duty 24 hours a day, Senior Carers being qualified to dispense medication to Residents under the direction of GPs and District Nurses. From time to time Residents may need short term care which is classed as “Nursing” Care. This is provided by Community District Nurses as St George’s is not a Nursing Home.

Registered Residential Care
Registered Residential care is intended for elderly people who require a higher degree of support coupled with Personal Care. The provision of Personal Care necessitates a high ratio of staff to Residents and as a result, charges are higher than in a Sheltered House.
Our fully-trained and professional staff provide the highest possible quality of care for Residents.
